Beta Upsilon hosted an event at Gainesville Pet Rescue on Sunday, November 12 from 3 pm – 6 which turned out to be a success. Pictured are members who volunteered at the event. General tasks included walking dogs, preparing cat enclosures, sweeping, bagging food, dishes, laundry, and making adoption folders.

On May 2, 2013, J. Glenn Morris Jr., MD, MPH, & TM, was inducted into the Beta Upsilon Chapter of Delta Omega as an honorary member. Dr. Morris has been the Director of the Emerging Pathogen Institute and Professor of Infectious Diseases in the UF College of Medicine since 2007.
