Delta Omega, Beta Upsilon Chapter Mentorship Program Guidelines

Program Goal:

The main goal of the program is to provide an opportunity for all Beta Upsilon members, both students and faculty, to connect and network with other members and professionals in the field.

Location:

  • Virtual Program

Program Requirements:

  • All participants agree to participate in the program for 12 consecutive months.
  • All participants agree to communicate bi-monthly with their assigned mentoring partner (this meeting may be face-to-face, by phone, or virtual).
  • Mentees will make contact with their assigned mentor through email and / or by phone within two weeks (14 days) of receiving the assignment email from the Beta Upsilon Executive Committee.
  • Mentees and mentors agree to complete program evaluation materials.

Recognition:

Mentoring pairs who complete all the requirements will receive recognition at the annual new member induction ceremony and Beta Upsilon website and/or social media sites.

Mentor/Mentee Application Submission Deadline:

Fall: October 1 | Spring: February 1
